Recount Writing-On the weekend

At the Reunion.
I am learning to use interesting words in my Recount.

On the weekend I went to Ngawha School for a

Tehara reunion. It was very exciting.

I was playing schools then I went to play ping pong. I lost. Then I.
went to play with my baby cousin. We were playing on the grass.
We were playing with the ball. It was fun
We were jumping up and down and smiling huge smiles

Next we went to have a drink. Then I went to play with the basket
ball. After that I went to play ping pong again. This time I won.
I felt very happy. 

We had fun. At night we played spotlight. I hid behind a tree.
It is so cool playing spotlight in the dark. It is fun

I did an investigation about favourite shops. I asked the people in

my class. Here is what I found out.

On the holiday, my family and I went to our new house. First we got our stuff from our papa. Then we dropped it off at home.

After that we went back to our papa's house and we got more stuff from our papa. We were jumping up and down with excitement. My dad said to me, “Did you have fun?” 

I said to my dad, “Yes I did have fun.” 

When we got home I had a big smile from ear to ear. My mouth was wide open. I was giggling. I had fun so did my family. 

Then we had lunch. I was so hungry after all the hard work moving our stuff to our new house. The lunch was yummy.

After lunch we got back to our job of moving to our new house. 

I had twinkling eyes. I was happy and so was my family.

We were happy and amazed at our new house.
